A few close-range hits with a shotgun will see them off, but be careful on death they explode in a shower of poison almost as damaging as their ranged attack.Ĭolloquially referred to as “The Guardian”, this unique Antlion Guard is decidedly harder to kill. While slower than their kin, they are much tougher and can attack from range with a poison projectile, which can cause serious amounts of damage as well as inducing a black headcrab-like poison which requires time to dissipate.
